Cancel Culture Confusion
“I Just Asked a Question. Now I’m the Milk Man of the Resistance.”
What started as a mild caffeine-fueled inquiry has launched Gerald Flint, 46, into unexpected fame after he was banned from SproutHaus Café for wondering aloud if oat milk was just “beige water with branding.” Within hours, baristas rallied, a chalkboard manifesto was written, and Gerald’s face was printed on a compostable flyer labeled “Enemy of Plant Progress.”
“I wasn’t being hostile,” Gerald said. “I was just confused why a latte costs $11 and makes my tongue feel like it’s dating a sponge.”
The café declared him “culturally dairy-aligned” and excommunicated him from trivia night. Gerald now leads the *Lactose Literacy League*, a support group for people “canceled by alt-beverages.”
His story went viral after a video showed him being pelted with hemp seeds while yelling “I just want moo-based options!”
Now considered a dairy-rights icon, Gerald speaks at underground milk rallies, where chants include “Cream is not a crime!” and “Real cows, real vows!”
SproutHaus has doubled down, installing an Oat Milk Honor Shrine and rebranding Gerald’s usual seat as the “Chair of Misaligned Palates.”
He’s since started a podcast called *Udderly Misunderstood.*
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
